The Xbox Series X will be capable of running 4 K graphics at 60 to 120 frames per second ( fps) to help game developers produce higher quality games for customers without facing screen tearing issues. Present generation gaming consoles will only offer the best 4 K resolution at 60fps for players. It also gets an upgraded graphics card and processor which gives it a leg over the current gaming consoles of the century. The business has used a custom-designed processor, powered by an 8-core AMD Zen 2 CPU and a 2-class RDNA GPU. Together with a next generation DirectX ecosystem, this custom Processor and GPU will help the industry step forward according to the firm.

The firm also added its own Xbox Velocity Architecture to the console to boost the console 's overall speeds. According to the business, it enables the player to access 100 GB of game assets instantly, which in turn helps the console to create an efficient physical memory multiplier, thus improving console speeds.
